Washer drains and starts to spin then stops spinning but continues thru cycle

Wow, interesting problem.

I would take off the front and disconnect the wire harness from the motor. I would then you contact cleaner to clean the connection of the wire harness to the motor. I have had several GE's in recent weeks that just had bad motor/wiring connections.

Try this, and if that does not work post back, but I have to tell you, I don't have a good recommendation after this.
