Kenmore Elite Front Load Washer

Washer does not complete final spin. I hear a noise as if it is trying to spin; but it doesn't. When I open the door to see if maybe the load is unbalanced, I find that is not the case. It doesn't matter the size of the load. what is the problem?:confused:
