Water does not begin filling for several minutes at the start of a cycle, and I hear a slight 60 cycle hum. Once it does fill, the cycle usually runs but every now and then it stops at rinse waiting for it to refill. Changed the water inlet valve and ACT board but did not solve problem. Help!

Does the flush water enters the dispenser at the beginning of the Ultra Clean cycle for the first 90 seconds?

No, the water does not flush through the dispenser.

The new timer should fix it. Especially because you already replaced the ACT board.

Thanks, if I decide to live with the inconvenience of adding detergent and bleach directly to the washer tub and not change out the timer, can the faulty timer result in more serious problems for the washer?
