HI..I have a agitator problem. The agitator is a two part agitator. The agitator dogs seem to be ok because the top agitator assembly spins free in one direction and turns the bottom agitator when spun the opposite direction. However, the agitator will not spin during any cycle. The basket itself spins and seems to be working fine. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hello.

There is two part scenario.
Bad agitator base or bad transmission.
Take the agitator off and see if the transmission shaft is turning.
If it does - replace the agitator base.
The splines inside the base are stripped and there is no grip.

The agitator base Part number: AP2906554
Part number: AP2906554

If not - replace

The transmission Part number: AP3096209
Part number: AP3096209
