My Control Board Has 2 Burnt Resistors (r75 & R11) On The Board. I Was Told To Replace The Control Board Part #22002989. What Other Part Might Need To Be Replcaed With It??? What Would Cause Two Resistors To Burn Up??? Would A Door Switch Or Lock??? Please Help!!! Is This Worth Fixing???

Hi Eva
You need to replace the wax motors which control the door switch and which you may also have on the dispensor mechanism. For reasons known only to Maytag, and maybe not even to them, these wax motors cause a failure of the control board.
With respect to your question about is it worth it, I would say if you can do the work yourself, and you otherwise like the washer and you do not suspect there are any other problems, go ahead. If you have to pay to have this done, or you are not particularly happy with the machine I would say take the money you were going to spend on the old Neptune and replace it with a no frills top loading machine. It will get your clothes just as clean, and should give you years of trouble free operations.
Good luck.

Hello, The door latch wax motor (12002535) shorts out and damages the Q6 and R11 on the Neptune Machine Control board. See neptune help song for a video that explains the issue and the low cost solution. You can replace the components on the control board and see if that corrects the door locking / no spin issue for about $35. If you still have issues then the control board will have to be replaced. I hope this helps. Check out neptune bearing if your Neptune is getting loud in the spin cycle so you can replace your bearings and seal kit before they get too bad. Save $800 by doing it yourself!
