Model Number: 900 Brand: Wards Age: 5 - 10 years
My Whirlpool washing machine stopped working abruptly in mid-cycle. We had a power failure in the house (unrelated) where all the power cut simultaneously. When we turned the power back on, the washing machine, which was in mid-cycle, froze. I have tried turning the sequence dial, but nothing happens, no clicks, nothing. Left it for a day, and had been exactly where it was yesterday, full of water and not responding. The electric "on" light still shows red. What do you suggest?

Hi Simon thanks for the reply. I unplugged and replugged it in and it started to work again. Quite puzzling. Still working fine. In order to unplug had to move away from a very tight space and had to pull~bounce it forward. Who knows but fingers crossed.
