I just got a used washer and dryer from a friend (it worked fine) since we moved to an apartment where there are hook-ups. I just installed a new water inlet valve (got damaged in transport) and now my washer shakes BADLY during the spin cycle. I balanced the maching with a level and by hand and it does not seem to be unbalanced. I do not know if I might have put the front cabinet on wrong or something else is broken. Please help! Also step by step directions and diagrams will help me out a lot. Thank you.

I do not think this happens because you did not replace the cabinet correctly.

The first thing you need to check is the springs, and I would replace them even if they appear to be ok, since they can be stretched and cause problems that are not visible to the naked eye. This is cheap and easy to do.

If that does not fix the problem, look at the things mentioned on this site.

Good luck.
