Maytag Washer links at Inlet Valve Basket
Model Number: A282 Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
I have a Maytag Washer A282. It leaked only at the injector basket. So I purchased and replaced it with an entire new kit (hoses, valve, stem, basket). When the washer tub spins water spins around the side and up into the hose but the water still backs up out of the basket. What is the purpose of this injector segment? Is it supposed to be taking water out of the machine? I have taken it apart and manually run water into it under the sink tap and water still will not pass the new injector nozzle. What might be the problem?
