Has anyone else had problems with their Kenmore Elite Calypso? This machine is now 8 years old. Three years ago, it completely stopped working and we had to have it repaired. The entire wash plate unit had to be removed and everything underneath replaced (the machine was leaving black streaks on all my clothes). Now the control panel is shot and the pump motor is not working.

I've had other washing machines that cost a lot less than this machine for 20 - 25 years with no problems. This one seems like it was a piece of junk!
