My whirlpool washer does not drain before spin cycle I get water from the bottom all over the floor. Any suggestioins.

Hi Ken

Please post a full model number. I assume that the water on the floor is from it spinning with water in it and not a leak. Is that correct?

Also, have you check the drain and drain hoses to see that they are not obstructed?

My model is SM 8280869 Whirlpool 5 cycles 4 speed combination, This started all at once never did this in the past. I have not checked the hose to see if it was obstructed. Thank you for the info, any thing else it might be.ThanksKen

Your model number does not come up, did you provide the serial number instead? Is this a U. S. model?

Let us know if you need more help, and if so, repost the model number is what you provided is not correct.

That is all I have, I dont have a manual, the number I gave is the only number I could find. I look up & down I dont see no model #, where should I look else.

If this is a top loader, look on the rim after you lift the lid; if it is a front loader look inside the door.
