I'm trying to get to a leaking seal around the transmission shaft. According to the parts diagram (#7) "Transmission & Brake" its part number 13. I have tried numerous tools but the thing won't turn,,,, is there a special tool somewhere I can get for this? I've got the transmission shaft secured by locking down the drive belt/pulley but I just can't seem to get this thing to turn....

HELP!!! :D :p :( :)

I've just found a Maytag Technical Bulletin from October 2005, No. TDL-0086-B. It does not seem to list the model number for our washing machine (SAV515DAWW) but the drawing included seem to match the machine from as far as I can tell.... Can anybody out there confirm this for me?

Also, I need to confirm which specialty tools I need for this job... Can anyone direct me to a site that can help me with this as well?

Thanks everyone who has taken the time to read this and any technical advice offered will be greatly appreciated.

:) :o  :p
