Hi there, we have GE commercial washer wcrd2050f2wc .

First of all Main psu unit burned. Instead of new same unit We were offered other transformer. We were told it will do the same job.

I installed this transformer. Washer was/is working but it was faulty on cycles. I ordered a new timer. I installed it and problem is still the same.

1)After plug in the washer to the electricity, all lights comes on and time start countdown. But because timer is not started(in off position), washer don't operate.

2)When I start washing the timer is not working properly, turning just sometimes, problem in swapping between each cycles.

3)Time countdown usually comes from 26min to 15 and stay there for couple of minutes. Than if a cycle change to other one, countdown comes down to 12min but no more. Than working for other 20-30 min.
When the timer reach position finish-on countdown display is still 12min left, lights will not come off and I can still hear some sort of clicking or tension in the timer.

Led light of Final spin is not coming on even it seems processing it.

Any idea what could be the problem will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Marian

Not sure what you mean by that. Are you saying it was a used part you installed?

Thank you for fast reply. Please be patient with my English.

When Main PCU burned I called to the company from where we purchased the washer. They suggested us to replace this burned part, but not for the same Main PCU but for simple transformer. The reason was cost of the new Main PCU and the transformer will do the same job.

Thank you

Mari
