which part do I need for water level control so washer does not over fill?
Model Number: LSQ8243HQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Water fills beyond set level and will over fill not letting the wash cycle

If you have to cut the water off to stop the water flow the water inlet valve is bad and needs replacing. If turning the washer off stops the water flow there is something wrong with the water level control such as the tube that runs from the water level control is stopped up or has came loose or the water level switch is bad. applianceman,
After turning the washer off the water flow did stop. I replaced the tube that runs from the water level control down to the tub and it resolved the problem. A really simple fix. Thank You for your time and help! Sincerely, Paul Bailey
