Bought your washer suspension repair kit W10189077 for Whirlpool washing machine. Also purchased silicone-grease 26594P. Where on the new parts should I apply it? Or is it necessary to do so? Ann

My old suspension rods were just sitting on the metal frame with a bunch of grease underneath the suspension balls. I just now looked at the instruction sheet and it says "a new design has been developed to replace the current grease with plastic bushings". Never mind. I guess it pays to read instruction sheets carefully. Thanks, ApplianceJunk for pointing it out to me. Ann
