I have lost a necklace and pendant in the wash. The pendant and part of the chain was in the tub and the chain (partial) was sticking down into one of the little holes in the tub. How can I find the rest of the chain?

If this is the top load Maytag washer, then your necklace will either be below the basket in the outer tub, or in pump itself, or in drain hose. But if you are not mechanically inclined, then you might want to call in someone that is or a repair tech to find it... This unit can be tricky to disassemble and re-assemble. Hope you can find it.

Hope you can find it. It looks like the chain may be caught by the wash lint filter. The diagram shows two.. I can't figure out how to get to them from the diagram. Do you how to get to them? If so please share with me.

What is the exact model number of your unit? The model number you entered is incorrect.
The only closest model number does not have a lint filter on it.
If you do have a pump filter, then you may be able to access that from the bottom front panel if it has one, if not then you will have to remove the front panel.
Is this a top loader or front loader?
