I have read the threads on replacing the resistors,R11, Q6 or a R43,on the control boards. Are these located and accessed from the back of the washer?
I was getting water leaking from under the machine for a while.I took off the rubber boot by the door, and noticed the rubber hose that goes to the bleach dispenser had a hole in it where it was clamped to the side of the machine.Checked the softener disspenser rubber hose, and it too is wearing, but no hole yet.Probably several years of rubbing during cycles caused the hole. So, there was plenty of water beneath and might have a problem with the board getting wet.
Any advice will be appreciated.

What are the symptoms that lead you to believe you have a bad control board?

The symptoms are, that when the cycle comes to the spin cycles, it never comes to full speed anymore, just drains and agitates a little.Water is always left in the machine and clothes are very wet.

First thing I would check is the pump for obstructions and the drain hoses for restriction. If all is ok with the pump, the motor control board may need to be replaced, These usually come with a new motor, but still, a little less expensive than a main control.

I found a quarter lodged in almost 2/3 sideways in the inlet of the pump.Does that cause the spin cycles not to run at full RPMs?

Yes... and the laundered money is your unexpected tip for the day. Good job. You may have just saved yourself a ton of money.
