Model Number: WFW8500SR00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Hello,
I am interested in taking off the storage unit underneith my Whirlpool washer. I have taken of the front screws but cannot seem to find a way to take the back ones off. Any Tips? What is the best way to lift off the unit from the storage bin? What is the best way to add the legs to the washing machine? Please help. Thank you!! Rick Beelen Ads By Google Related Models |

You will probably need to re install the front screws, and lay the washer on it's back on a blanket ot pad. loosen and remove the front screws(again, and loosen the two(2) 5/8 inch hex head screws in the slots, just off center in the rear of the pedestal, then slide the pedestal assembly up and off the base of the washer. Do you have the four(4) feet and locking nuts, or will you need to purchase them. Part number: AP3892282 Part number: AP2974021 Install the nut(s) on the feet, then the feet in the threaded openings of the base, as close to the base as possible, using a wrench, lock the rear legs in position by tightenning the leg nut against the washer base, then stand the washe up. make all the necessary connections and slide the washer into position, adjust the front feet, until the washer is level, start a spin cycle and "fine tune" the front feet until there is very little or no vibration in the washer, then lock the bolts. Thanks and Good Luck,
