Default Gibson washer won't fill
Model Number: gwt645rhso   Brand: Gibson   Age: 5 - 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com
I have a gibson front load washer that won't fill with water. I checked the water lines, both hot and cold are on and available to the inlet hoses. What do I check next? Any troubleshooting sources for this? I assume it could be the switch or the valves. Need some model specific guidance if its available. Thanks!

Sounds like the valves. Make sure the screens are clear on the valves. Also blow out the tube going from the water pressure switch. If this does not fix it, and it is likely it won't,
You can check to see if 120v is getting to them when the washer is supposed to be filling, if so, replace them.

Good luck.

You can also test each side of the valve by disconnecting it from the machine's wiring connectors, and applying 120VAC directly to the terminals for a second or two. If water flows during the test, the valve is good.

Default timer

is that part of the front panel switch, the main one you twist to select the type of wash you want?
