This pump replaced the orginal one. My issue is the connector for the power cannot fit on the new pump. My question is how can I tell which wire goes on which connector. There is a Black wire and a Red/White wire? On the new pump it has no indication as to which connector is plus or minus?

Any help will greatly be appreciated.

The wires should plug right in and it doesn’t matter which wire connects to which terminal. Clothes Washer Repair Guide
