my estate washer keeps over filling and never goes into agitate cycle it will spin and empty out if you turn the dial to spin

Hello . Smoky You have one of two possibilities here , first being a bad water valvePart number: AP4568155

you can easily check this by starting the unit in a regular wash cycle as the water starts coming in reach up and unplug the unit , does the water just keep coming in ? if so you have a bad water vale , next in line would be the pressure switchPart number: AP4568155

the hose that is attached will sometimes get a pin hole in it not letting the switch sense the correct pressure causing the unit to over flow as well, this is where I would start in this order. thank you and good luck !
