After the initial wash and draining of water, the timer(dial) does not click to the next cycle. And when I turn the dial to the rinse cycle and pull the dial out to start, it does nothing. But when I turn the dial to spin cycle, it spins. So somewhere after draining the water and in-between the spin cycle, the washer does nothing. Is it a timer problem for sure? I don't want to spend $120 for the wrong part with a no return policy. Can anyone help with the answer pls.

I think it is the timer, and if you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it. APP has one of the few returns for all parts.

It's definitely the timer. Maybe you could also have a look at Washer Dryer Combo Reviews, Ratings and Articles and see if it's not a common mistake of these models.
