machine stops after rinsing for a couple of seconds
Model Number: ras6233kq0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
washer goes through wash cycle does not drain after wash and does not fill for rinse cycle . if turned to rinse starts up agian then stops

Sounds like a timer issue, possibly broken or stuck contact arms.
Try it in different wash cycles and see what happens. If machine goes through the cycle without stopping it is almost definitely the timer.
