Hi, I have a two year old Whirlpool washer that fills up to the top when I put in anything less then a full load of laundry. I would like to replace the water sensor but am not sure of the part number to purchase. Any help on this topic will be appreciated. Thanks

When you turn the water level switch, it should click, if not, you must replace it. If ok, check the plastic tubing to it, may have fallen off, or clogged with soap residue. If it fills with water when unplugged, your water valve in the back is bad.

I do not have a water level switch. It is suppose to "sense" the amount of water that the clothes need but that is not what is happening. I am assuming I need to changed the sensor switch?

The water level switch is in back of the control panel.
