the washer will not spin, making a buzzing sound. took the motor off the motor coupler is not broken and doesn't seem to be worn. before it stopped spinning it made a loud noise . what can it be if it is not the motor coupler

Did it agitate?
Did it drain?
Would the motor work on the spin cycle if it's removed from the washer?

it does agitate and drain , don't know how to check motor off the machine

how do you check to see if the washer will spin when not connected to the washer
