How can I find the date of manufacture of this series 70 washer? Is this considered to be a reliable washer?
Thanks

I think these are very good machines, they are made by Whirlpool, and the two things which typically go wrong, the lid switch and the motor coupling are inexpensive and easy to repair by the owner.

I have a similar machine, going on 10 years and expect to have it another 10 years.

You can find out how old it is by going to internet sites (search on a topic like how old is my appliance) and putting in the serial number.
