washer doesnt have cold water
Model Number: ax6245vw0 Brand: Roper Age: More than 10 years
washer was working fine. Now i have no cold water for both wash and rinse. the cold water was working fine just a few weeks ago. i do have cold water for my side sink were the water drains.

Hi Sadie
Failure to get cold water usually means either the screens inside the water valve are clogged, (take a look) or the cold water part of the water valve is not operating. If you want to test it out, take off the cabinet and use a meter to see if 120 volts are getting to the cold water solenoid when cold water is called for. If so, replace the valve assembly.
