i need to change out the agitator gear. unable to pull the gear. need instructions on how to pull the agitator gear from the washer

I am not sure what you mean, since we do not refer to any parts as an agitator gear.

Anyway, check out this site

Washer Agitator Repair Guide

and see if that is what you are trying to do.

If you need more info please describe in detail what is wrong and what you are attempting to do.
