Hello,
I have LG WM2277hw washing machine, here’s the problem: When I turn it on to wash I get high pitch singing from the stator assemble and it does turn but it’s very jerky, until the power is removed from the coils thru the psb,, then it rotors very smooth, it seems only to turn in cw direction looking from the back. I checked the resistance on all three legs and get 8.2 ohms, and center tap where all three wire are tighten together to the three legs are 4.1ohms. I removed the Rotor Assembly, of course it didn’t move but I heard the same noise, also the very bottom coil and the one 180 degrees didn’t produce a magnet field? I removed the cover over the main PCB didn’t have burned smell it. Usually when you lose a component you get “that smell” Any help would be appreciated. I’m ready to buy the stator, rotor and PCB

Thanks

What did you discover was the solution for the problem? I bought a new stator assembly and that did NOT fix the issue. Was it your rotor assembly or the motor control unit?

thanks,

Mike
