So, this washer was given to me a couple of years ago and did well for quite a while. Over the last 6 months I have replaced the clutch, motor coupler and, most recently, the washer pump. My concern is the new washer pump....Just ran my first load of clothes through it and it seems that perhaps the washer pump was bad out of the box, it's making a high pitched noise (not squeaking or grinding, more like a high pitched hum) during the wash and rinse cycles, but not during drain, fill or spin. The noise is definitely coming from the area of the washer pump. Is this normal or should I send the part back for replacement?
