My Whirlpool, model number LTE5243DQO, stackable washer/dryer machine is giving me a big headache!

When using the washer and during its regular "wash cycle" the agitator will not work, but it will work during the "super wash" (14 minute wash cycle) and "rinse" cycles. The agitator will only work for the first 2 minutes in the "super wash" cycle and will cease to function once the timer advances to the "wash cycle". No noise from within the machine can be heard during the "wash cycle" other than a few clicks from the advancing timer. All the other cycles seem to work properly once the timer advances to the subsequent cycles.

I just installed a new timer incorrectly believing that was the root cause of my problem. I would guess the part that tells the washer to start agitating is the problem. Anyone know what part(s) have failed and how to replace them?

Your washer may have two speed agitation and one of the speeds on the motor has failed.
