washer spins clockwise with no agitation - could this be a brake problem
Model Number: LAT9457AAE Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
The wash drums spins fast (throws water out of tub) clockwise and does not agitate. Is this a brake problem?

If the tub spins during wash the brakes are not holding. Put the washer in spin and open the door, if the tub doesn’t stop fairly quick you know for sure the brakes are bad. Clothes Washer Repair Guide
