I'm hoping for some guidance. I've searched this site (and others) but can't find the same problem in the same model washer.

My Kenmore Front Load Washer still works great (with one exception). It appears that the bleach is not dispensing. The detergent is dispensing fine. The fabric softener is dispensing fine (although there seems to be a small amount of water that is in the fabric softener compartment after a load is complete.) But the bleach compartment stays full.

I read somewhere that these actually dispense by siphoning and if the washer is level, it can be lifted (like 1/4"-1/2") in the fromt and that will fix it. Is this possible?

I also read that something may be clogged. Can cleaner or hot water clean it out?

I'm fairly handy...was able to replace the door lock switch last year.

Look forward to some sound advice.

It may be clogged, so try cleaning it out buy it is far more like the dispenser assembly will have to be replaced.

Thanks for replying...cleaned everything out. Even snaked a small piece of wire down the hole in the back and then flushed with hot water.

When you say 'replace the dispenser assembly', what does that mean? Is it an electrical part? Or like a hose or line that needs replaced?

Man...that part replacement looks complicated. Is it as complicated as it looks? (or not that bad?)

Take off the top of the machine and take a look at the way the parts are in their, and then see if you think you can do it.

Does anyone know if there is a video showing how up replace the dispenser assembly?
I haven't bought the part yet but think it's time.

This service manual for a very similar Frigidaire made model should help you.
