have maytag washer that needs tub bearing. would like to do it myself,after watching you tube i think i can do it. question. will i need spanner nut wrench? any last tips befor i get my feet wet. also where is the best place to order parts? thanks bobalou07:)

Hello. The best advice that I can give on this adventure, would be to try and locate a technician that has the tool and try to borrow it , I have heard of folks using a cold chisel to get them off, that seems a little risky, you could soak it with WD-40 the real problem would be getting the new one tight enough with out doing damage to it , or the threads on the transmission here is the part AP3538707'); return false; " style="text-decoration:underline;" href ="http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch.aspx?pn_=AP3538707" target="_blank">Part number: AP3538707
