I have an LG Tromm WM2688HWM washer and it has recently started leaking water from the pressure relief valve on the back of the machine, during the rinse/spin cycle. I can feel the air coming out during the spin cycle and thats when water will spurt out.
It leaves a puddle on the floor after each load.
We recently moved, but had the 4 restraining bolts in.
Any suggestions?
thanks

What kind of detergent did you use? It must be a HE (high efficient) detergent and you have to use a smallest possible amount.

Gene, Thanks for the response. I am using HE detergent and the wife fills it to the max line. I told her to try putting in less.
Also, I have recently been getting an FE error (overflow-related to water valve)... not sure how to fix that.

Are you still getting this error code with a smaller amount of detergent?

We still have not tried it yet. I have read that a bad water inlet valve can cause the FE error. I will look into that too.
thanks again.
