HELP!!!
I have been experiencing a problem with my washer and I think it has to do with the control panels circuit board. I first noticed the problem about 6 months ago when the washer would come on briefly and the lights on the display would blink and go off when the washer was just idol. on several occasions the washer would not turn on at all. One day I unpluged the washer to check the electrical connections and found nothing wrong. I put everything back together and pluged it back in and like a miracle it worked. I assumed it was a loose connection someplace or something, but the washer resumed normal operation, untill a few days ago. The lights on the display come on briefly and then go out and this happens randomly. The display does not show any error codes. I am assuming that the circuit board is bad. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Ads By Google Related Models |

Hi Carpentry
Those on again-off again-on again problems are very frustrating. Here is a service manual for your machine which may help trouble shooting before you replace your board. http://frigidaireservicetips.com/pdf...sherManual.pdf Good luck

I seem to have a similar problem. I have an 5 year old Frigidaire Affinity front loader (ATF7000FG0). Out of nowhere the lights can start blinking and the machine beeps. Sometimes it seems the microswitch for temperature settings is stuck, as with every beep, the machine cycles through the water temperature settings. But when I press a different button, for example the soil settings, the only effect it has is on the temperature setting. When I press cancel, the machine goes back to normal for a couple of seconds. I can then quicky choose the right settings and start the program. During the washing cycle it keeps beeping and giving 'ERR' in the display. But at least it seems to finish the washing cycle as normal.
The link to frigidaireservicetips.com doesn't work (anymore). Who can offer me some advice on how to diagnose and solve the problem?? |
