lights blink and washer tries to start
Model Number: LTF2140ES3 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
the lights on my front loading washing machine blink on and off and the machine tries to start. Sometimes it does start but after a while it cuts off and the lights blink again while the machine keep trying to start. Any ideas?

The blinking lights are an error code on your model. Take off the lower service panel and you will find some tech notes that will tell you what they mean and how to do some testing. Focus on the door lock mechanism, the wiring to and from it, and the main control board.
