Hello, I found my washer full of water and clothes with the message "An Problem Has Been Detected With This Unit." When I access the service menu it tells me "Motor is not rotating properly, check and replace if necessary." Upon reading a few forums and articles I see where others have found the Hall Sensor to be the issue. I found a service manual in another forum post ( http://www.affordableappliance.com/D...ony_Washer.pdf ) and did some trouble shooting on the inverter board. I pulled the hall sensor plug and tested between pins 3 and 4 on the inverter board and get about 15VDC. The next step says to test the voltage at the hall sensor and to plug the sensor back into the inverter board. Is this process performed with power to the unit, the inverter board plug, or under the wash drum at the actual hall sensor? I plugged the unit in, replaced the hall sensor plug at the inverter board and tested per the manual while spinning the drum. I get voltage jumps that vary by the speed at which I turn the drum. The above error was the only one listed when accessing the service menu. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
