I have a washer dryer stacked unit approx 9 years old and when I put it on spin cycle on regular wash it squeals. When I put it on spin cycle on delicate mode it doesn't make the noise. I was wondering if there is a bearing that would cause this problem ? Why on regular wash and not on delicate? Thanks.

If this is a two speed motor then it may be the delicate spin is slower.

Take off the front service panel and operate the machine and see if you can tell where the noise is coming from.

If you need more info tell us what happened when you took off the panel and provide a full model number.
