Select cycle...several click noise occur....then dL then F error code....what is the problem

Hi Bill
It sounds like the machine is trying to lock the door, and then when it fails to do so it shuts down and displays that message.
Since you here the noise it sounds like the CCU is correctly sending electricity to the door lock to lock, but it is not happening. The door lock mechanisms on these machines are weak point, and I think a replacement door lock assembly will be in order,

had repair man over....replaced door lock mechanism...problem persisted...said it was the CCU....bought new machine today....with CCU being $350.00....why not. if you think that CCU is not the solution set let me know...may salvage the old one or donate.

Well, sorry that did not work out for you. A lot of times with these machines it is both the door lock and the CCU, I was hoping with your machine it was just the door lock mechanism. My guess is that you would have needed both, which makes the repair too expensive.
