Ran washer through many cycles:
1). Cold water will not stop filling when level has been set
2). Cold water used for rinsing fills and stops, rinses during spin, stops when
At end of cycle.
3). Can only wash with hot, cold is turne on when rinse begins

Normally the problem here is the vaLve is stuck open, but since it will stop ono the rinse cycle the problem is likely with the timer or the temp selection switch.

Try changing out the temp selection switch and if that does not fix things try changing out the timer.
