Model Number: lat9406aae Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
my washer is dripping water from bottom of pump,what could be causing this.

Sounds like the seal in the pump is bad which is not repairable except for replacing the pump assembly. The part number is AP4372888. I would first remove the 2 screws in the front panel and remove it to ensure the leak is originating from the pump and not running down from another location. Hope this helps! =]
