I received an estate washer and dryer a few days ago. I hooked everything properly and started a cycle of wash. About half way through the load, I could smell rubber all throughout my house. I need to find out what is going on. I assumed it was maybe a broken belt but I did a little bit of research about the washer and it doesn't even have a belt. Please help me figure what is wrong so I can fix my washer!!! Thanks.

Could be oil from the gearbox getting on the clutch and what you are smelling is the oil getting hot when the clutch spins.

So how do I fix or repair so my washer doesn't get ruined?
