you guys are the best. used past posting to rebuild Maytag, Neptune, fav6800aww. Full bearing failure and lifter bearing replacement. Installing agitators with new bushings and lifter bearings and realize I did not take note of agitator orientation. Notice arrows that I assume are for orientation. What position should they be after assembly?

The arrow formed in the bottom of the stainless steel spinner should be facing away from you. Then, the tumbler mark with an L goes on the left, and R on the right. Put both timing marks at the bottom, and they should be inline with each other and both pointing to the left. Steve

Thank you Steve. Washer running like brand new. Quite a bit of splashing. Alignment of tumblers should correct this. My problem seems to have generated some interest and now finally a help full reply. I need to book mark this site.

Glad to have help. I just got done with a bearing and seal replacement on the same machine so it was fresh in my mind. Steve
