I keep getting codes F & H. Cleaned out drain in bottom, replaced water valve unit and still getting codes? Saw another posting that mentioned a "flowmeter", What does that do and could that be my problem?

When water starts to enter the machine the flow meter measures how much has come in. When the machine reaches capacity, about 10+ gallons, and the pressure switch has not signaled the central control to turn off the water, the flow meter tells the control unit to turn off the water valves, so that the machine does not flood all over itself or your house.

This is a nice improvement over the old top load washer, where if the valves do not turn off after capacity is reached the machine just keeps filling until you notice the flood.

So, the first place you want to check is the pressure switch. First look to see that the tube on the switch is clear and free of an obstruction. If it is, take off the bottom panel and you will find tech sheets that tell you how to test the pressure switch.

If the tube is ok, the problem is more likely in your pressure switch then the flow meter, so if you change out parts that is where I would go first.

Good luck, let us know what you find out.

The Flow Meter fixed the problem and I just finished running a load of clothes YEA. I even repaired it myself which makes it that much better. Easy to do. I decided to keep the "new" installed water control valve as I figured it wouldn't hurt to have a new one. What a great service to be able to reference. Could never have done this w/o it.
