Default Bosch washer- leaking at pump assembly
Model Number: WFK2401UC   Brand: Bosch   Age: 5 - 10 years

Washer is leaking. Initially noticed that the soap dispenser wasn't emptying, then found water on the floor. Leaking from the nipple on the pump housing (part # 265757). Loses c. 1/2 -1 cup per load of wash. Need to know if the problem would be in the pump and/or pump housing, or if this is an overflow which could be coming from another area that is getting backed up. This will be the 6th or 7th repair on this washer, so trying to decide whether it is worth the aggravation.
Thanks for any help or insights!

Default Same Problem

I have the same model and the same issues. I have been disapointed by this product. It needs a new control board and pump. I don't think I will buy another Bosch.

Default

electronics are covered by Bosch for 3 or 5 years ... pumps leak usually because grit gets in the threads of the filter. Clean out filter and wipe threads well and get out all grit and tighten filter into pump housing well... if the pump is leaking and it is under 4-5 years old, you are probably using TOO MUCH detergent!!!
