The washer fills and starts agitating and then just stops. Same scenario in the delicate, normal and other cycles. Any ideas on what is going on or what I should replace? Unit is just over 10 yrs old so I don't want to dump a ton of money repairing it since it's likely on its last leg anyway.

Hi CB

The initial diagnosis would be the timer, but this is speculative as you have not posted a full model number. It is also possible there is some type of wiring issue or the lid switch if yours is one of the models where the lid switch stops the machine during agitation.

If you will post the full number we can tell you what the timer would cost if you want to attempt a repair.

Ended up changing out the lid switch and now it works like any 10 year old dream machine!
