The pump is not a separable repairable item. I would go ahead and replace it.

The impeller is very easy to clean. It is easiest if you disconnect the hoses and wires and remove it from the frame of the washer.

Flipping up the larger of two two rubber pads will allow you to push the pump to the right, and then up.

If you look at the pump, focus in on the part where the two round plastic pieces come together. Leave the box-like part of it alone.

The two round plastic pieces have a number of tabs and grooves. One of the tabs can be pushed aside with a small flat head screwdriver which will allow the other tabs to rotate. Rotate the pieces around 15 degrees and then you can separate them. You can then access the impeller from there. Be mindful of the o-ring.
