PLEASE READ ASAP - Washer wont agitate in wash or rinse cylce
 

Im sorry to be so persistant but im kinda in a bind!!!! My Kenmore 70 Series heavyduty plus washer will start working fine, it fills with water, and then when its supposed to agitate in wash cycle and rinse cycle it drains the water instead, and does not move. It will fill with water when its supposed to fine, and the spin cylces work fine. I have a newborn baby and a load of cloth diapers sitting in it at the moment!!!!! Any ideas????:confused:

You probably have a busted wire on the control magnet on the tranny, washer not shifting to agitate when filled. It's the yellow wire to the outer coil.

haha ok. i didnt see any busted wires....actually all the wires look good...is there a trick i can use to make it work?

The metal inside the wire can break without the insulation breaking! Pull the wires off the control magnet and feal them.
You can also check continuity with a meter. If ok, remove the cover from the timer and look for burnt contacts.
