washer will fill and:mad: then motor just hums, have replaced the start capacitor and still not working any suggestions?

Start by check the coupling. The hum may be the motor turning but if the coupling is broken it won't agitate. A good way to test this without opening the washer is to move the timer to the end of the was cycle and see if it drains.

Take off the cabinet and check the pump for an obstruction, if it is moving ok, pull the motor and check the coupling.
Also, see if the motor will run when it is out of machine and see if the transmission will turn.
All of this should tell you where the problem is.
