Model Number: LAT9593AAL Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
I purchased a stem seal, tub bearing and spanner wrench from your store.
I also downloaded the repair manual (come to find out my model is not included) from your site Tonight I worked on the washer and have 3 questions 1) Stem seal grease, what kind to use? 2) Stem seal oring (AP24738 I think), need to replace? not in the kit (I didn't loose it?)? 3) The hub assembly seems to be different in that the agitator drive seal seems to be built in. The old assembly has the retaining clip, washer and removable agitator drive seal. I would assume that those parts are no longer needed? Please advise. Thanks. |

1) You can use the Maytag seal grease, part number AP4284075
2) Everything what has to be replaced is included in the kit. 3) The manufacturer has redesigned some parts in the kit. Before you install the new parts, make sure everything is clean from the rust. Good luck. Gene.
